The Annapurna Circuit is on every serious trekker’s bucket list. It takes you through a remarkable variety of landscapes — subtropical valleys, ancient trading towns, rhododendron forests, high-altitude grasslands, and the stark moonscape above 4,000m.
The climax is Thorong La Pass at 5,416m — a demanding but achievable crossing that rewards you with views you will remember for the rest of your life. On the far side, the sacred temple of Muktinath and the beginning of the Mustang rain shadow await.
